Sat. May 17: Grand Opening of Pepper Shed

Fully stocked with over 200 brands of salsas, marinades, mustards, jerk seasonings, rubs, spices, pickles, jellies, sauces, snacks, and dips, The Pepper Shed, in downtown Lewisburg, is celebrating its official grand opening on Saturday, May 17th! The celebration will start at 10am-7pm with a Taste Testing (no charge) and Happy Jalapeña walking between The Pepper Shed streets of downtown inviting people to come by!

Owners Denny and Jacqueline have always enjoyed cooking and experimenting with new foods and recipes. They also shared a desire to open a store that carried various seasonings and hot sauces.

If you ask them what their best seller is, they will give you a list of items including Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, Tiger Marinade, Jack Daniels Mustard, Greenbrier Valley, WV Road Kill Salsa, and Slap Yo’ Momma Seasoning for the mild palette, Pain Is Good Salsa, Dave’s Insanity Gourmet Hot Sauce, Crazy Jerry’s Hot Cheese Dip, Lizard Eyes Olives (for the medium palette), Ghost Fusion Oil, and Pain Is Good Extreme (for the hot palette).

Stop in regularly as the owners plan to expand the product line with flavored butters, more fruit products that have a kick of pepper in them, and more snack items. They are also excited about producing their own line of products. The Pepper Shed’s homemade flavors will include a Chocolate Salsa, (that was served at The Chocolate Festival) and Denny’s Awesome Hot Sauce and Ramp Holler Sauce, (yes, made with ramps)!
