Sat. June 10: Run w/ the Troops!

On Saturday, June 10th, you are invited to run with the troops in the Color Run 5k! The Friends and Family of Greenbrier County Guardsmen will be hosting this Color Run in Alderson. The registration fee is $25 for 16 an older, 15 and under will be $20, and 5 and under is free. Registration and check in is at 8 for those who have not pre registered. Race starts at 9 am. The event starts and ends at the football field in Alderson.

This event is a fundraiser for the unit and family members of our local Guard unit in Maxwelton, WV. This unit plays a huge part in our local community both in times of peace and war. They have not only deployed in the past to help ensure our countries safety, but they are also the first ones called during recent floods and winter storms for rescue and clean up. All proceeds from this event will go back directly back to these unit members and their families. The local guardsmen are going to run in the 5K with the runners as part of a “run with the troops theme”.

To register for this event, call: 304-497-3056
