Carnegie Hall hosts the Creative Youth Art Exhibit, a show featuring the best artwork from students, grades 4 thru 12 from public, private and home schools in the Greenbrier Valley. Student artwork is judged by a panel of judges selected by Carnegie Hall and the categories are mixed media, drawing, water color, painting in oil or acrylic, pastel and photography. The opening reception will take place on First Friday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and the exhibit will be on display in the Old Stone Room thru March 27th. Carnegie Hall is lcoated at 105 Church Street. Trillium Performing Arts at the Lewis Theatre premiers Creative Convergence, a concert of Contemporary Dance and Movement Theatre at 7:30p, followed by a free “meet the artists” reception with snacks and beverages. The Greenbrier County Visitors Center premieres their March “Art in the Valley” show, featuring a beautiful display of quilts presented by the Alderson Quilters and Crafters Guild. Members of the guild will be on hand in the center to demonstrate and discuss the art of quilt making. During your visit, enjoy the music of Some of Strum Sum Band throughout the evening.
