Fri. June 16: Farm Field Day in Hinton!

On Friday, June 16th, don’t miss a day of Family Fun on the Farm! From 9am-4pm, join the West Virginia Southern Conservation Districts Annual for Farm Field Day. This special event is hosted at John Farrell Farm in the Beautiful Big Bend of the Greenbrier River at Camp Lightfoot, between Talcott and Hinton.

There will be local farm to table foods from local farmers, a meet and greet with agricultural agencies and resources, NRCS / WVCA /FSA, and meet Mrs. West Virginia, Marty Walker! You will have a chance to sign up for grants and learn about farm equipment… there will be displays and information. There will also be demonstrations on Grazing, Growing, Raising,  and Going Green with Solar Power, Extended Winter Grass Stocking, High Tunnels / Soil and Pasture Restoration.
