American Outlaw David Allan Coe @ Clover Club, Sept 21

This September 21st, David Allan Coe, the singer/songwriter known as the “American Outlaw” is coming to WSS. He has had sixty-three songs on the Billboard Singles Charts and he’s worked with artists from Willie Nelson to Pantera. He’ll be performing at the Clover Club to an expected crowd of 450.

“David Coe is the last of the country outlaws,” – Bruce B.

His musical style may be described as a mix of rock, blues, and country. During the 70’s and 80’s, Coe achieved national popularity with several of his songs taking top 10 spots on the country music billboard. Coe’s most widely recognized songs (which made no 1) are “Would you Lay with me in a Field of Stone” and “Take this Job and Shove it.”

“Love him! Such a pure country voice. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny Coe is a very talented performer,” – Jonathan F.

Clover Club owner, Stuart Brugh, is a long time fan of David Allan Coe. Stuart tells us that, “Coe has written so much material for other artists, including Johnny Cash, Kid Rock, Tammy Wynette, and has performed with the best talent. He is a star and a legend.” That said, Stuart is bringing Coe to his club because he’s been looking for national acts and had an outside request for David Allan Coe. Because of Coe’s comical and country rock style, Stuart believes he’ll be a widely received performance at the club.

There are total 450 tickets on sale for this event. Cost of tickets range between: $22-$48. Regular admission seats are $22, reserved seating is $30 and reservation with tables range between $38-$48. Tables are within 12′ of the stage.

Doors open @ 7pm, Opening Act Morelle starts 8:15pm, Coe is scheduled 10:30pm.
