August 4th: Voice of Larry Smith at Wild Bill’s Roadhouse

The doors of Wild Bill’s Roadhouse, located on rt. 60 in White Sulphur Springs, will be open Sunday, August 4th for an all day, family friendly country & rock music event called, “Voice of Larry Smith.” Larry has played music in this area for many years and with several bands. He is considered a musician’s musician by many local folks. This music event will have 10 band, 2 duo acts, 2 solo acts, and 1 comedian. The doors open at 1pm and entertainment continues into the night until around 10pm.

For those of you who don’t know Larry and his situation, he recently had a much needed surgery on his vocal cords. This benefit will help Larry cover this medical procedure, as all proceeds will go toward paying these expenses.
From 2-6pm, the Wild Bill’s stage will welcome country bands: Ridin Hard Bluegrass Band from 2-2:45pm, Goodson Boys from 2:45-3pm, State Line from 3-3:45, comedian Tammy from 3:45-4:45pm, Goodson Boys & Friends from 4-4:30pm, Tribute Band from 4:30-5:15pm, Andy Burke from 5:15-5:30pm, and Sundown Express from 5:30-6pm.

The second half of the show will present rock bands, starting with Camp Run a Muk Gang from 6:30-7pm, Andy Burke from 7-7:15pm, Nashville Departure from 7:15-7:45pm, Rivertown Gypsies from 7:45-8:15pm, Blacksmith from 8:15-9pm, Jim Snyder from 9-9:15pm, and lastly, Wild Horses from 9:15-9:45pm. To conclude the night, there will be an Open Jam where all the musicians are invited to play together from 9:45-10pm.

You can’t go to a roadhouse without great food and drinks. Wild Bill’s will be serving up delicious brisket, pulled pork, burgers, rib eye steaks, appetizers.

Between 6-6:30, there will be a small benefit auction, which will include gift certificates from Logan’s Steak House, Ryan’s, Marquee Cinema, Chic-Fil-a, and more. There will also be some crafts and an a 8×10 photo of “Ambush,” which was a band Larry performed with a while back. The event will also include door prizes.
