AUG 31: MUSIC SERIES AT HEARTSTRINGS

On Saturday, August 31st, three female singer/songwriters will come together in concert at Heartstrings Academy, 7pm. Judith Avers, Anna Osborne, and Amy McIntire will perform originals and cover songs while singing in different combinations with guest musicians. Special guests are: Thomas Ball, Mary Dailey, Jeanne Hoffman, and LBSPY’s very own contributing writer, Susanna Robinson-Kenga. This event is free and sponsored by the Casasanta Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting the arts in Greenbrier Valley, casasanta.org

McIntire, formerly the banjo player and lead singer of the band The Ahs, has most recently performed in Carnegie Hall’s Bootleggers Ball II as Ivanna Schpanken, and with Little Sparrow. Lastly, Osborne plays a variety of instruments including guitar, violin, drums, and tap shoes. Heartstrings Academy is located on 151 Feamster Road, off N. Court Street, right outside downtown. They are Lewisburg’s #1 music, yoga, and arts school.
