While you are in town on the 4th for Lewisburg First Friday after 5pm, join us for a new tradition of “Story Time” at Love Child. Beginning at 5:30pm, I will be reading a short story geared toward children 2-4 years old. Then at 6pm the 4-6 year olds will be entertained with a story called, “Don’t let the pigeon drive the bus!” Here at Love Child, we have a wonderful selection of clothes, toys, stuffed animals, and of course many fabulous books! Come grab a chair and join us for a short adventure!

Downtown Lewisburg has many great specialty shops, including Wolf Creek Gallery (see ad page 3) which is featuring PGA bangles (American made) by Alex and Ani. There’s also plenty of dining options including the new Stella’s location beside Del Sol Cantina and Grille (also a great choice) and Food & Friends (ad page 5). Stop by Osage Pecan Company (ad page 2) and try some of the best pecans in the states and coming directly from the family farm in Georgia. Harmony Ridge Gallery will be celebrating the evening with some red, white, and blue surprises for you! As you’re strolling through town, check out the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center for complimentary lemonade and tunes by Strum Sum Band. Later in the evening, the Black Mtn Bluegrass Boys will perform at the Sweet Shoppe (pg 11) and the Rivertown Gypsies at the Irish Pub (both at 9pm).

Enjoy your 4th and don’t forget to like Love Child on Facebook.
